LinguaMatrix uses a deterministic language knowledge and expression engine as its foundation. Optional AI is an additional refinement layer, not the authority for paid entitlement or learner mastery.

What works without AI

• Practice, flashcards and coaching within the available plan
• Device text-to-speech where supported

Protected Premium data

The full Premium corpus is stored outside the public web root after installation. Authenticated Premium requests receive only the data needed for enabled product experiences. A browser must receive content it displays, so no web service can make individual displayed results impossible to inspect; the design prevents anonymous bulk download of the full proprietary corpus.

Optional AI

When configured, a protected server endpoint may send the text and compact context required for refinement to the selected AI provider. API secrets stay server-side. If AI is unavailable, the deterministic LinguaMatrix experience remains the baseline.

Paid and Preview access

Paid Premium authorization is determined by the server account and verified payment/subscription state. Eligible Free accounts may receive one server-timed Preview; the browser cannot start, reset or extend it through query strings or local storage. Preview APIs return representative bounded Premium data where practical rather than exposing the complete master corpus.
